This page was created as a result of the first project for the bachelors of fashion technology. In the "project: designers inspiring", we try to grow both individually and as a group in designing and developing a collection. The specific assignment is to develop some tops for a spring collection around the chosen topic "Fast Forward".

The elaboration involves first brainstorming in groups around the idea of futurism and metaverse. How do we see fashion trends evolving in the future. Do we see a metaverse appearing, will we have extensions within customisation or will we use new innovative techniques in the future? We then bring these ideas together in several mood boards, representing target group and brand identity. Within this brand identity, we design 5 tops each, individually. Later, we prepare a technical file and draw out the necessary cutting patterns. When all these steps are completed, we can start stitching and elaborating the model. A model that is innovative following the chosen theme "Fast Forward".

OUR BRAND
When we think of today's fashion industry, we associate it with overconsumption and fast fashion. Above all, we want a change in customers' buying behaviour. We want to give them the possibility of having a whole wardrobe full of several outfits in front of them with just a few pieces. That's why we thought of modular clothing. So the wearer or customer, can change the outfit depending on the occasion or weather.
Furthermore, we took inspiration from organic shapes; with colours like blue and brown. Blue on the one hand because it is a colour of wisdom and intelligence, but also the colour of water and waves. Together with the brown colours, this gives the feeling of sun, sea and beach; in other words, an infinity of waves and movement.
